Aerocare has won four awards announced at the annual QantasLink Regional Airports Ground Handing Conference events in Sydney during the past week.

Aerocare CEO Glenn Rutherford said: “Congratulations to our teams in Brisbane, Rockhampton, Mackay and Coffs Harbour and thank you for your continued hard work and stand-out performance.”

“Winning these awards is a remarkable achievement and acknowledges Aerocare’s consistently strong safety performance and our commitment to service excellence,” Mr Rutherford said.

  • Brisbane Airport was celebrated for having the best safety reporting across the network.
  • Coffs Harbour Airport was recognised for achieving the highest Lead Indicator Safety Oversight (LISO) score over the previous 12 months.
  • Mackay Airport and Rockhampton Airport were acknowledged for their service delivery during and after Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie in March this year, which included significant support to Hamilton Island.

The awards were presented by QantasLink Head of Airports Paul Ferguson at the airline’s annual Regional Ground Handling Conference events.

Aerocare is the largest ground handler within the Australian and New Zealand region, with more than 3,000 team members currently servicing 3,200 flights per week and 41,200 passengers per day.
