Happy Birthday to Jetstar’s New Zealand regional network which has turned two years old.
The first regional flights took off on 1 December 2015 between Auckland, Nelson and Napier – Palmerston North and New Plymouth, with Wellington joining the network on 1 February 2016.
Over the past two years, Jetstar has carried more than 910,000 customers on their Kiwi turboprop network – closing in on the magic million milestone!
Jetstar Head of New Zealand, Daniel Banens, flew into Nelson to share a celebratory cake with the Aerocare team. Daniel is pictured here with Aerocare’s Trevor Blakemore.
Aerocare is the largest ground handler within the Australian and New Zealand region, with more than 3,000 team members currently servicing 3,200 flights per week and 41,200 passengers per day.
