Aerocare’s Lam Khuu has been selected as a Virgin Australia Brand Ambassador, after being nominated by several pilots and operational team members.
Rob Sharp, Group Executive Virgin Australia, said Perth-based Lam had been recognised for his outstanding contribution within the Team Contributor category, and that he looked forward to congratulating Lam at an event later in the year.

Lam is universally respected by peers, clients and competitors alike. It is not often you hear a ground handling competitor rave about the professionalism of one of your team, but when it comes to Lam no one bats an eyelid as we all know the value and contribution he makes every day he comes to work. It is not the first time Lam has been recognised over his 12-year career within Aerocare, but his recognition by Virgin Australia as a Brand Ambassador is special. It confirms what we all know here at Aerocare and that is Lam is a cut above the rest. Well done Lam, you are truly an asset.

Lam is one ground handler who stands out from the crowd. He always approaches the tasks with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency to ensure OTP targets are met. He never complains, always has a smile on his face and deserves recognition. The VARA Pilot community always comment on his outstanding service and willingness to assist to ensure dispatch and arrivals run smooth.
Lam has been with Aerocare for a considerable amount of time, during this time he has demonstrated outstanding service. He is always first to the aircraft for receipt and dispatch. Nothing is outside his scope of service, and he always welcomes crew and passengers with a smile. A truly outstanding person to be around, and to have on staff.
Lam is a great example of what it means to be a champion of better in every way. He is a role model and his energy and passion for the job have been highlighted by our flight crew who work with him each and every day and who depend on his services. He goes above and beyond to maintain guest satisfaction and come rain or shine Lam has a smile on his face and works with his heart on his sleeve.
